2025 GC Community Swap Meet Registration

Our third annual Community Swap Meet!

Sell: used, vintage or new items (community yard sale)

Event Date: Saturday May 31, 2025

Event Times: 8:00am-1:00pm

Set Up: Saturday: 6:00am-8:00am

Our lot will close to vehicles 30 minutes before the event starts. If you arrive late, you will need to walk your set up in.

Tear down: 1:00pm-2:30pm

All items must be removed. We will only accept clothing donations to add to our donation collections.

Event Location: 1580 N. Claremont Blvd. Claremont

Vendor Donation: $25 for two parking spaces. One of these MUST be used for a vehicle. This helps provide physical barriers between booths and it frees outside parking for guests. (additional rental spaces are $10 each).

The parties to this agreement are Granite Creek Community Church (Host) and hereafter Vendor.

Host is hosting an event at Granite Creek Community Church at 1580 N. Claremont Blvd, Claremont, CA 91711 on May 31, 2025 from 8 am to 1 pm*. The vendor has paid host a vendor donation for a booth. ($25 for two parking spaces + $10 for each additional space) All donations go towards student summer activities.

The parties agree as follows:

  • One of the two spaces rented will be for a vehicle.

    • This helps give visual barriers for guests and it frees parking elsewhere for guests.

  • Vendor shall be allowed into location 1.5 hours before the event’s commencement for the purpose of setting up Vendors booth space.

  • No stolen merchandise, fire-arms, ammunition, explosives, alcoholic beverages, drugs or illegal items are permitted on the church grounds. Please note: As a Christian church, we reserve the right to modify and/or restrict the sale of merchandise that runs contrary to our beliefs and values.

  • Vendors booth space shall be no larger than their parking spaces. Please respect the booths around you and give shoppers space. Vendor is responsible for all tables, chairs, canopy etc.

  • Vendor will be responsible for providing the labor needed for all items related to the setup and breakdown of vendor booth space (tables, chairs and materials, etc.)

  • No music or such devices shall be used within the Vendors space.

  • Vendor will have one hour after the events conclusion to dismantle and remove all personal items and products brought. Vendor will leave the location clean of trash and in the condition it was before Vendor occupied it, and will be held responsible for any damage.

  • Vendor is responsible for having all necessary permits available to sell at this event, and will show proof of said permits if requested.

  • Vendor is responsible for their own liability and worker’s compensation liability insurance.

  • The Host reserves the right to ask any vendor to leave for any reason.

  • Host will not be held liable for any sales tax which may or may not be collected by Vendor during the event

  • The Host is not responsible for monitoring or to guarantee exclusivity on merchandise sales. Please utilize the marketing tools you will be given to increase the chances of success.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY: By submitting this application, I agree to indemnify and hold Granite Creek Community Church, their officials, staff and agents harmless of and from any and all actions, causes of action of every kind in law or equity, suits, debts, liens, contracts, agreements, promises, claims, liabilities, demands, obligations, loss, costs and expense of any nature whatsoever, known or unknown, fixed or contingent, including, without limitation, attorney’s fees and court costs through and including any appeals, taxable or otherwise, incurred, either directly or indirectly, as a result of my participation in the GC Community Swap Meet, including but not limited to, any claims which might be made by myself, my co-workers, my agents, my employees, and/or any member of the general public. I understand and agree that Granite Creek Community Church is in no way responsible for my property/or its safety.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: I agree to leave my space the way it was given to me. If anything happens to my space, I will notify an Event Manager. If my product causes damage to any property at Granite Creek Community Church, either myself or my insurance will cover the cost of the damages. I agree not to use this facility for any unlawful purposes, and I will obey all laws, rules, and regulations of governmental authorities. If there is a dispute between myself and the facility, I agree to resolve it with a mediator present without involving any governmental authorities.

PROMOTION PERMISSION: I grant permission for Granite Creek Community Church to use photos of me and my products with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including, for example, such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content unless otherwise noted.

REFUND POLICY: Vendor will be held to our refund policy. (Up to 14 days prior to the market Vendor may cancel and will be refunded their donation minus a $10 processing fee. If Vendor cancels 14 days or less prior to the market the vendor donations are non-refundable.) There will be no refunds given for poor sales, slow traffic, weather or vendor not showing up to event. Vendor agrees not to file a refund through their bank or Paypal for booth donations after the refund period of 30 days before event.

*Times are subject to change if shows are added or removed. You will be notified via email or text of any changes.

$25 for two spaces (one to park in and one to sell items from). Add $10 for each additional space you would like.
