HOME Groups
Mission Statement-
“To be a conduit of the transforming power of Jesus Christ - to bring people into a restored communion and community with God.”
“And we who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” . 2Cor 3:18
God created us to live in community: to gather together, to be cared for and challenge one another- to discover how God is calling each of us into a deeper relationship with Him, each other and the world. For many of us, trying to understand this three-fold relationship can be problematic. Although we are in the large congregation on Sunday and receive God’s word we sometimes neglect developing close relationships.
HOME Groups offer a safe place to connect with other believers in fellowship. Our purpose is simple- to grow in our understanding of God and our role in His plan for our life whether it is by ministering to others, becoming equipped to share Christ’s message or developing a lifestyle that worships God. It is our firm belief that life change happens best in community. We believe that when people gather in groups with a shared mission to pursue God, to love one another, and to serve others- God tends to show up and do amazing things!
“Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.'” Matthew 22:37-39
We believe that in order to carry out the Great Commandment we must be committed in five areas:
- Committed to Discipleship
- Committed to Spiritual Worship
- Committed to Intentional Outreach
There are groups currently meeting in Claremont, Rancho Cucamonga, Montclair and Upland. If you are interested in hosting, leading or just attending a HOME Group or for more information contact Pastor Josh at the church office or
